Shawn Mitchell Perkins, professionally known as SP The Plug, is a multifaceted American artist based in Washington, D.C. Perkins has established a national presence with his dynamic murals, innovative graphic designs, and custom merchandise.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Perkins' versatility spans from large-scale murals in schools, hotels, and restaurants to original canvas works and live painting exhibitions. His signature emblem, "the Plug," symbolizes his mission to use art as a conduit for connection and inspiration, and is an acronym for “Painting a Legacy Under God.”
